Shannonside Office

This contract consisted of the construction of a new office building on the Shannonside dairy ingredients facility in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, a part of the Connacht Gold network of operations.  Connacht Gold is a diversified business with activities in consumer foods, dairy ingredients and the agri-business, to name a few.

The new building has centralised the whole administration for the plant into one central building.  A main feature of the building was the construction of a large glazed entrance foyer feature extending into the roof area and forming part of the reception lobby.

The main challenge during the construction operation was to ensure that production activities at the plant were not affected or interrupted during the construction phase.

This was successfully achieved through careful planning and coordination between Kenaidan personnel and the facility management staff.
